    but will they improve on what the feed can bring in. It still doesn't support embed code from my wordpress blog rss feed.

    Very disappointed to see such dodgy advertising going on.

    For example, a poor quality IQ test that asks for operator company and mobile phone number at the end so that unsuspecting people can be sent crappy texts stealing money off them

    Poor show Facebook. You are going to get slated inthe media for this. If not by others then by me.

    that does sound bad. When will facebook learn to incorporate adverts that are not at the expense of its members.

    Many users are said to not mind seeing banner ads around the page if they are relevant to them which surely is possible given the abundance of data we enter on these sites. If ads where open and honest it would eliminate a lot of negative attitude towards them.

    Yes I think more should be done to encourage good debates and conversation on facebook otherwise i think the novelty of facebook may soon die out and people will leave in search of more stimulating sites.
